q. how much advance notice is required when ordering a cake?

a. its best to give as much notice as possible in order to secure your date, with a minimum of 1 month for sculpted cakes.  traditional rounds, with minimal artwork, may be requested within 1 week's time. please call or email to find out our availability.

q.  when is the payment due?

a.  orders that exceed $100.00 require a non-refundable down payment of 50% upon ordering.  all other cakes can be paid upon pick-up/delivery.

q.  how much do the cakes cost?

a.  because each cake is a one of a kind creation, a standard price list is impossible to publish.  however, as a general guideline, the minimum cost for a 3-d sculpted cake is $200.00, and increases based on the number of servings and amount of artwork required. 2-dimensional cakes can be a fun alternative for events with smaller budgets (for example, the round viola cake under specialty cakes). 

q.  do you design wedding cakes?

a.  ann tracie cake design focuses on specialized cakes with a non-traditional flair for any event, including weddings. 

q. do you ship cakes?

a.  in order to preserve the structural integrity of each design, we do not ship our cakes. 

q.  do you deliver your cakes?

a. delivery is available in the greater Boston and Providence area.  for sculpted cakes, delivery is preferred to ensure your cake arrives at your event as originally designed.  the final touches will be performed on-site. depending on your location, a delivery charge of $1.00 per mile may be required.

q.  where is  your bakery?

a. our bakery is located in franklin, massachusetts and is open by appointment only.  cakes can be picked up in franklin during a pre-arranged time, or they can be scheduled for delivery.
